Football News
England coach Steve McClaren has admitted missing out on a place at Euro 2008 would be a "massive disappointment".

Wednesday night´s 2-1 defeat to Russia means England´s hopes of reaching next summer´s finals in Austria and Switzerland all but rely on Israel not losing to Guus Hiddink´s side in Tel Aviv next month.

"It would be a huge disappointment if we did not get there," said McClaren. "We are not even thinking about that at the moment. We are in a results business. Now we have to rely on Israel getting one for us."
