Jose Mourinho makes big decision on potential Manchester United transfer deal

Published 2 Comments

With Chelsea having lost last season’s mojo the last thing Jose Mourinho would have wanted was an injury to a key player. Alas, the footballing gods have once again laughed at the plans of mortal managers, and Thibaut Courtois is facing a lengthy spell out on the sidelines. However, the latest on the situation sees it said that Mourinho won’t go into the market for another goalkeeper, with Manchester United’s Victor Valdes seemingly an obvious choice. The Independent say Mourinho is not keen on recruiting Valdes, and is happy with the options he has - namely Asmir Begovic and Jamal Blackman Meanwhile, the Blues have staunchly denied rumours alluding to a training ground bust-up between John Terry and Diego Costa. TalkSPORT’s Stan Collymore reported that the two had been involved in an altercation, but the club have downplayed the speculation. Collymore has since withdrawn his statement.
