With WWE's latest pay-per-view event, Night of Champions, now just five days away, speculation is building within the WWE Universe.
One match in particular - Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. The Wyatt Family - has caught the imagination of the fans, and they've spent weeks attempting to decipher just who will be joining the former Shield duo as the sixth participant.
Is it on?
Although the likes of Bo Dallas and Randy Orton have been mentioned, there is now a growing feeling amongst the WWE Universe that The Rock could be making a sensational return. WWE guru Dave Meltzer's comments on the situation today will only fuel the debate.
Speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, via NoDQ.com, Meltzer refused to rule out the idea of The Rock returning to aid his real-life cousin, Roman Reigns.
Noting that an appearance in the match was "possible", he went on to temper expectations by suggesting that the People's Champion would only return at the Night of Champions (NOC) under certain circumstances.
The main crux of the argument was that The Rock - a part-time Superstar for some time now - savours his moments in the WWE ring. If he were to come back for NOC, Meltzer argued, The Rock would have to be convinced it was part of some long-running storyline rather than simply a headline-grabbing one-off.
The Rock has come to the aid of Reigns in the past, but seeing him team-up with his relative in a legitimate pay-per-view match would take things to a new level. A level the WWE Universe would undoubtedly appreciate, especially when the alternatives such as Orton and Dallas having been met with luke-warm enthusiasm.
We have less than a week until we find out for certain who the mystery man is, but many in the WWE Universe already have their hearts set on their hero:
