Portugal must once again prove they can win in eastern Europe without coach Luiz Felipe Scolari bellowing from the touchline.

Portugal defeated Azerbaijan 2-0 on Saturday and travel to Kazakhstan bidding to cut the gap to Group A leaders Poland to one point.

Assistant coach Flavio Murtosa took charge from the dugout following Scolari´s two-month ban for an altercation with Serbia´s Ivica Dragutinovic on September 12. And Murtosa will be in charge for two further matches, with Scolari banned until the final group match against Finland on November 21.
