Group B leaders Scotland took one step closer to qualifying for the European Championships when they took a 2-1 first-half lead against Ukraine at Hampden.

Kenny Miller headed the home side into the lead after only three minutes and Lee McCulloch grabbed a second soon after with a wonderful curling shot from 16 yards.

However, Ukraine skipper Andriy Shevchenko pulled a goal back after 24 minutes to give the visitors hope.
