Damien Sandow returns to his The Voice of Common Sense gimmick

Damien Sandow performed in a dark match last night on WWE's SmackDown, bringing back one of his old gimmicks, The Voice of Common Sense.

Guess who's back

According to Wrestling Inc, Sandow appeared at the SmackDown taping in his old ring gear from before he was the Miz's stunt double.

This was the ring gear he wore when he was performing the gimmick, The Voice of Common Sense. In this role, he would wear a blue robe as he walked down the ramp to the ring, and he would say something he deemed smart and elegant in an arrogant way towards his opponent.

This would have been something along the lines of either giving advice or giving a correction of what a fellow Superstar had said. An opinion which he always believed to be the right one.

Sandow won his dark match against Adam Rose at the SmackDown tapings in  Little Rock, Arkansas.

He worked as a babyface though this time around in his old gear, not as a heel like before. Sandow also cut a promo and said he is back as The Voice of Common Sense, not as a stunt double.

Fans will be hoping it is only a matter of time before Sandow and his old gimmick are brought back onto WWE television, rather than just the dark matches. This return has received high praise from members of the WWE Universe on Twitter.
