Jose Mourinho to make big decision involving these four first-team Chelsea stars

Given that Chelsea have started off this campaign in alarmingly poor fashion it should come as no surprise that Jose Mourinho is believed to be ready to drop four first-team players for the Champions League visit of Maccabi Tel-Aviv tonight. The Daily Telegraph say that the usually vital quartet of John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa could be axed, with Gary Cahill partnering Kurt Zouma in defence, Baba Rahman replacing Ivanovic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek coming in for Matic and Loic Remy getting a chance ahead of Costa. Elsewhere, one man who isn’t likely to be featuring at Stamford Bridge tonight is Radamel Falcao. The Colombia striker supposedly has a ‘little problem’ and may well be ruled out of contention for a place in the European squad. With Remy in reserve that’s not a major issue, though Falcao himself would have been hoping to get involved.
