Wales star Leigh Halfpenny has revealed he is absolutely devastated to be missing the upcoming rugby World Cup, with the fullback out for six to eight months with an ACL injury. Wales start their campaign against Uruguay in Cardiff this Sunday, and will do well to cope with the loss of their star man. Across to boxing and heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has unveiled his plan to stop Tyson Fury on October 24. The Ukrainian said he could work the body against his taller opponent, describing Fury as being built like a spider. In snooker, World Champion Stuart Bingham eased himself into the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters yesterday, recording a comfortable win over Fang Xiongman. Bingham is looking to record back-to-back wins in the competition, having lifted the trophy 12 months ago. Lastly, Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at the media who criticised him following a barren start to the season.
