AC Milan´s lawyer Leandro Cantamessa believes goalkeeper Dida could receive a "light punishment" from UEFA for his reaction to being struck by a Celtic fan at Parkhead last week.

UEFA´s Control and Disciplinary Body will review the actions of both Dida and Milan at a hearing on Thursday, although the club anticipates that it will avoid sanction by European football´s governing body.

Cantamessa said: "I believe this inquiry is a formality and I don´t expect a punishment for Milan, perhaps a light punishment for Dida."
