Tom Brady seemingly outs himself as a Donald Trump supporter

Football News

Tom Brady has spent the entirety of the off-season, and the preseason for that matter, under the intense spotlight of the Deflategate scandal.

After all of that, one could forgive Brady for wanting to stay out of the headlines for a while and try to keep a low profile. There's just one thing, Tom Brady is having absolutely none of that.

Trump Supporter

In a move that will split even his biggest fans, Brady has revealed that he hopes Donald Trump wins the next Presidential Election.

Asked by reporters on Wednesday, via, whether or not Trump has what it takes to become the President of the U.S.A., Brady was extremely hopeful.

“I hope so. That would be great," Brady said. "There would be a putting green on the White House lawn. I’m sure of that.”

Trump thanked Brady for the quotes, taking to his personal Twitter account:

Good Friends

It is worth noting that Brady and Trump are already good friends. The two regularly play golf together and Trump showed his support for Brady during the Deflategate saga on multiple occasions. Brady has repaid that loyalty by clearly displaying a Trump cap in his locker during interviews.

People already dislike Brady and the New England Patriots after their history of dubious run-ins, and Tom just gave everyone another reason not to like him.

Something tells me these guys might be a fan of it though...
