Kane has been out of action for the past few months after he was viciously attacked by Brock Lesnar, who targeted his ankle with steel steps, and then Seth Rollins, who continued the beat down on his former friend.
This was the storyline that allowed Kane some time away from WWE to film 6:42, WWE's latest studio production, and now, since filming has wrapped, Kane could be set to make a return this weekend.
WHO WILL THE MONSTER GO AFTER?
Kane has a legitimate problem with Seth Rollins, but the deck is already stacked against him this weekend as he defends both of his championships against John Cena and Sting. He also has the little problem of Sheamus and his Money in the Bank briefcase to look out for as well, which means a Kane return would not have the same amount of impact it could have had at any other time.

Another theory sees Kane be the third man in the Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman match, as he returns as a face to team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
The main speculation behind this is because Kane was Bray Wyatt's first real victim on the main roster and following the Inferno Match at Summerslam two years ago, Kane never truly extracted revenge on the Wyatt Family for the defeat.
COULD KANE REUNITE WITH HIS BROTHER?
Let's be honest, Kane being the third man in the tag match would be a little bit of an anti climax, something like that would need more of a build and whilst it's a good idea from a storytelling standpoint, maybe it's not the right idea for now whilst WWE has so many better options.
A better theory would see Kane return and attack Seth Rollins during his match with Sting and lead to a disqualification so that Rollins keeps the title. This could then lead to Sting attempting to go after Kane for costing him the world title and instead Undertaker stepping up to save his brother.
That would be one way in which WWE could finally show the Sting vs Undertaker match that the WWE Universe has been waiting for and it would allow Kane to be a part of a legitimate feud again.
All that is known for sure is that Kane is set for a return this weekend, much like it was stated he would be back at SummerSlam will he return for Rollins or The Wyatts? Will he be a face or a heel?
