Rutger Worm´s second-half penalty gave NEC Nijmegen their first Eredivisie victory of the season against 10-man Willem II at Goffertstadion on Sunday.

Mario Been´s side, who beat FC Twente in the KNVB Beker in midweek, were made to work hard for the points despite Willem playing a man light for an hour.

The visitors were always going to be up against it after Kevin Bobson was given his marching orders for inexplicably elbowing Youssef El Akchaoui off the ball.
