New signing Anthony Martial made the perfect start to his Manchester United career when he scored against arch-rivals Liverpool last weekend and it appears that he is settling nicely into life in the North-West of England.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the French forward was spotted eating at footballer-favourite restaurant Wing’s in Manchester city centre on Friday night, before pausing to pose for a selfie with a passing traffic warden.

Martial made his first start for the club as he deputised for the injured Wayne Rooney in Tuesday’s Champions League defeat to PSV, yet manager Louis van Gaal has stressed that the youngster needs time to settle in at Old Trafford.

It seems as though his teammates have already suggested local hotspots for the teenager to visit as Wing’s is a popular destination for members of the Manchester United squad – even van Gaal was spotted eating at the Chinese restaurant earlier this week.

Sparing the time to have his photo taken will help him to ingratiate himself with his newfound fans. However, a quicker way to their hearts would be to continue netting goals for the Red Devils.

The former Monaco striker is in the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League visit to Southampton and he may be called upon to fire his side to another victory.

United have lost their last two away games in all competitions – a run they will want to put an end to on the South coast.
