Injured Holland duo miss out

Midfielder pair Ibrahim Afellay and Denny Landzaat have been left out of the provisional squad named by Marco van Basten for Holland´s upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers.

Afellay (toe) and Landzaat (fractured eye socket) are both suffering from injuries which will keep them out of the games against Group G leaders Romania and Slovenia.

Van Basten has named a total of 27 players in the provisional list, which will be reduced by the coach on On October 5.
