Raul Tamudo grabbed a dramatic late victory in Espanyol´s 3-2 victory at Sevilla, after the home side had come back from two goals down.

Angel Martinez gave Espanyol a shock lead with a brilliant shot on the bounce after half an hour and Luis Garcia doubled the Catalan advantage shortly after the break, but a Daniel Jarque own goal and a spectacular header by Arouna Kone brought the home side back on level terms.

Sevilla then threw players forward in search of a late winner, but were stunned when Tamudo sneaked through the home defence to seal a much-needed victory for the visitors who gained revenge for their UEFA Cup final defeat in Glasgow back in May.
