Football News

Week two of the NFL season has kicked off and following an incredible game in Kansas City on Thursday night, this week offers up some big match ups.

From a rematch of last years NFC Championship game to a clash between two names who were hot commodities in college at quarterback as Johnny Manziel faces off against Marcus Mariota.

Buffalo on the offensive

There will be four divisional matches played on Sunday and arguably the biggest one comes from the AFC East.

Who will emerge victorious in the AFC East this season? Have your say by signing up now to become a GMS writer:

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots make their first road trip of the season to the Buffalo Bills who shocked everyone last week by beating the Super Bowl tipped Indianapolis Colts.

Buffalo showed the power of their defense under new head coach Rex Ryan last week and will now prove a tough test for Brady and the Super Bowl champions.

It is tipped to be a classic showdown between offense and defense in Buffalo on Sunday but the jokes that the Patriots will surely face all season have already started.

Following their win last week, a group of Bills fans had a billboard put up which simply read "1-0" to reflect the teams winning start to the season.

That has now been replaced by another message...

A nice little rhyme written for Brady is the first of what will surely be many messages displayed for Brady and the Patriots this season.

We all know of the now infamous Deflategate scandal which went on all summer and how the NFL suspended Brady for four games only to see that suspension overturned.

Brady and the Patriots will now surely face jokes and attempts to mock them with deflated footballs all season and this is just the start for the Super Bowl champions.

We can only imagine what the Indianapolis fans themselves will have in store when the Patriots arrive for their week five clash.

What will we see?

This Sunday's game will surely be one to watch as the Bills and Patriots are expected to play out an interesting encounter.

Opinions are divided on who will emerge victorious but even at this early stage of the season, it could be called a match with play-off implications.
