The NFL is back and it returned with a bang last week as week one threw up it's fair share of surprises.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel looked like a new man when he replaced Josh McCown, The battle of the first two draft picks was an easy win by Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers tried a bold new defensive tactic by just not covering Rob Gronkowski.

More of the same?

Arguably the biggest surprise that came from week one however was the shock result from Buffalo where the Bills got a win over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts were being tipped as Super Bowl contenders for the entire off-season and a week one defeat was surely not how they would have liked to have started.

Buffalo have certainly improved this year and they face a tough test in week two against the New England Patriots, but the Colts are also staying within the AFC East.

They will welcome the New York Jets on Monday night and one of the biggest stories ahead of the game is the fitness of Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton.

Hilton left the game in Buffalo with an injury and was a big doubt for the Jets game all this week.

He did however return to the practice field on Saturday and he is now listed as questionable for Monday's game.

Hilton may have spent the majority of this week on the sidelines but he will still be crucial for Indianapolis if they hope to win on Monday.

Indianapolis coach Chuck Pagano has spoken about Hilton's chances of playing on Monday and has claimed to be optimistic about his chances of playing.

"He looked good. Still got two days," - Pagano on Hilton's chances of playing

The Jets defensive unit looked impressive in week one and will pose a big test to Andrew Luck and the Colts, but they are a team that Indianapolis will have to beat if they hope to be Super Bowl champions.

Fresh start?

Week two will give Indianapolis a chance to effectively start their season again and come up with a way to start their Super Bowl run.

It won't be easy against the new look Jets though will also be going into their first real test of the season.
