Foster to revamp Nou Camp

British architect Lord Norman Foster has been selected to revamp Barcelona´s famous Nou Camp stadium.

The appointment, announced on the Catalan club´s website, will cost an estimated 250 million euros and plans will be submitted for approval in a year´s time.

Fans are expected to get a sneak preview of early blueprints this weekend. It´s understood that 10,000 seats will be added to the 98,787 capacity of the fabled arena but that the existing structure of the stadium will be respected.
