Nikki Bella's record 301 days reign as the Divas Champion has ended. Night of Champions was Charlotte's night as she successfully defeated Nikki and won the title from her.

You won't be so much surprised when someone like Paige or AJ Lee does this. Just because it's Charlotte you look at it in a different dimension. So, what's so special about this 29-year-old Diva?

She was the daughter of the legendary Ric Flair and she hails from the WWE developmental territory, NXT. She made her WWE debut a couple of months ago and fast forward, she was now the leader of the Divas division. That's phenomenal isn't it?

Let us have a look at the expectations of the company on this young lady. In the last couple of months, Charlotte has been a part of multiple matches competing against most of the locker room divas except Paige and Becky Lynch.

Two weeks before Night of Champions, Charlotte defeated Brie in a 'Beat the Clock' challenge in just 100 seconds and became the number one contender for the Divas Championship. This makes the company's intentions clear. WWE is ready to invest in her and Charlotte is obviously the future.

So with the Divas roster looking rich in talent, it is time for Charlotte to rise to the occasion and prove her mettle. She is sure to face almost all the top rated Divas of today and if things really work well, we could see a highly competitive Divas division.
