Morrone promises action

Parma midfielder Stefano Morrone has promised his side will be out to make amends for their 2-0 defeat at Atalanta when they host Cagliari on Sunday.

The visitors from Sardinia have enjoyed an unexpectedly decent start to the campaign, but have never won at the Stadio Ennio Tardini in Serie A - and Parma will be hoping they can conserve that record and will be determined not to make the same mistakes as they did last week against Atalanta.

Summer signing Morrone told club website "Cagliari is a well organised side with an excellent tactical arrangement, but they will encounter a Parma different from the one at Bergamo from all points of view. There is much desire to cancel out an ugly match that was decided by episodes in which we could have done more."
