Juventus midfielder Sergio Almiron admits he will "always be grateful" to Udinese as he prepares to do battle with the club that gave him his big break in football.

The 26-year-old Rosario-born player began his career in his homeland with Newell´s Old Boys before being spotted by the Udine outfit in 2001.

Almiron moved to the Turin giants in June for nine million euros, and told club website www. "I´ll always be grateful to Udinese. They came to see me play in Argentina and they brought me over to Italy when I wasn´t even 21. Udinese´s management team believed in me and they launched my career."
