Former AC Milan favourite Andriy Shevchenko believes Rossoneri playmaker Kaka was never going to leave the San Siro for Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old Brazil international has been a long-standing target for the Spanish champions, but Shevchenko is convinced Kaka will stay loyal to Milan.

Ukraine and Chelsea striker Shevchenko told "I spoke a lot to Kaka this summer. You don´t need me to say how good a player he is. I can only say that Ricky (Kaka) loves Milan deeply and any suggestions that he was ever going to move to Real Madrid are totally without foundation."
