It is difficult to imagine Liverpool fans finding some common ground with Mario Balotelli. The Italian striker has cost their club a huge amount of money and offered only trouble in return.

But it seems they can agree on one thing: they both want Brendan Rodgers out of Anfield. That is, of course, if Balotelli's Instagram activity is to be taken as gospel, which it is.

Currently in the safe haven of the San Siro, where he has spent most of his career with Inter and AC Milan, Balotelli felt no fear in liking a controversial post by a prominent Liverpool fan.

Fans in agreement

Having seen their team scrape past Carlisle in an embarrassing performance in the League Cup on Wednesday night, Rodgers is surely hanging by a thread.
