Sweden skipper Fredrik Ljungberg has pulled out of the squad for the Euro 2008 qualifier against Denmark next Saturday through injury.

The 30-year-old West Ham midfielder has been struggling with a groin problem, and tests have confirmed he will not be fit in time for the Group F clash with their Scandinavian neighbours.

Ljungberg is the second player to pull out of the Sweden side this weekend, with Matias Concha also forced out by a thigh injury.
