Marseille display far from Nice

Football News
Vincent Hognon and David Hellebuyck scored second-half goals as Nice secured a deserved 2-0 victory over listless southern rivals Marseille at the Stade Velodrome on Wednesday.

Defender Hognon lashed home the opener just after the break from a corner, and midfielder Hellebuyck made the game safe for his side with a goal on the counter-attack in the dying stages.

Whistles from the home fans greeted the final whistle, with OM sorely missing the pace of the injured Djibril Cisse up front. Nice, who had just one win under their belt coming into the game, dominated from the first whistle.
