FIFA 16 has only just hit the shelves, but somebody has already managed to cause a virtual argument between Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

The clip - which you can see by scrolling down this page to the embedded Instagram video - shows Messi and Ronaldo angered by something that’s just happened during El Clasico.

Ronaldo appears to be trying his best to reason with Messi, but the Barcelona No. 10 flips and walks off in a strop after throwing his arm in the air. Surely it should have been the other way around?

Perhaps they were disagreeing over their respective player ratings on the latest instalment of EA Sports’ hugely successful gaming franchise.

Ronaldo has a rating of 93 in the game, but Messi is rated slightly higher - probably because his face is on the front cover - with a total score of 94.

However, Messi only has four stars for his skill moves, whereas Ronaldo has the full five. That’s bound to irk the Argentina international a little bit.

Messi beats Ronaldo for dribbling and passing, but is outscored by his Real Madrid counterpart when it comes to shooting, defending and physicality. Both superstars, meanwhile, have 92 for pace.
