Football News

Veteran fans of the WWE will be ecstatic today with the news that the organization is set to reunite one of the most high-profile popular double acts in the company's history.

Epic reunion

As reported by NoDq.com, The Undertaker and Kane are set to rekindle their Brothers of Destruction tag team for the WWE's upcoming tour of Mexico.

The two Superstars wreaked havoc on the tag-team division throughout the late '90s and early '00s but, despite sporadic reunions since then, they haven't teamed up together in over two years. That's all about to change.

Revealing that The Undertaker and Kane will be in action on all three dates (October 16-18) when the WWE travel south of the border, the reports have also identified who the Brothers of Destruction will be facing in the ring.

Going up against the veterans will be two members of The Wyatt Family; Luke Harper and Braun Stroman.

Considering the combined age of Kane and Undertaker is approaching the century mark, the duo might not be able to bring the pain quite like they did back in their heyday. Nevertheless, the announcement is sure to have the WWE Universe watching on in anticipation.

Odd timing

They last teamed up on a post-WrestleMania RAW show back in April 2013, and, when you consider their current roles within the WWE, the upcoming reunion comes slightly out of left field.

Kane, having been a heel for much of the last year as part of The Authority, returned at Night of Champions as a face as he laid down the gantlet to Seth Rollins.

The Undertaker, meanwhile, has been moving towards a heel persona in his own feud with Brock Lesnar.

It will be interesting to see how the WWE finds the balance when the pair join forces next month.
