Sunny, the WWE Hall of Famer and woman widely credited as the first ever Diva, is in jail this afternoon after an arrest on Wednesday, September 23rd.
The arrest, as reported by PW Insider, is in response to the bench warrant issued against her name earlier in September after she failed to show for consecutive hearings relating to a late May arrest.
Sunny's original arrest, dating back to May 30th, was for a DUI in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

According to PW Insider, via WrestlingInc, Sunny - real name Tammy Sytch - is residing in a cell in the Carbon County Correctional Facility located in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania.
With an appearance before a judge scheduled for 1:15 pm Eastern Time this afternoon, it is expected the former wrestling star will soon learn whether she will be held behind bars until her December 7th trial date.
Now 42, Sunny was a trailblazer in her time with the WWE (then WWF) and she helped raise the profile of females in the business during her three-year spell with the company in the late '90s.
She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 but has earned notoriety since.
As well as starting up a career in the adult entertainment business in recent years, Sunny has a fairly lengthy history of run-ins with the law.
In 2012, the ex-wrestler was arrested five times in one month and she spent over 100 days in jail in 2013 after violating a protective order.
This latest incident is yet another worrying sign for her fans, and they will be hoping she turns the corner in the near future.
