Potential feuds for Seth Rollins' WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Football News

Since becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins has defended the championship against some big name opponents. Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Sting are some of the superstars that have tried to snatch the title from Rollins.

All of them have failed.Rollins is enjoying a lengthy title run at the moment but fans still argue whether it’s been a successful reign.

Interferences have definitely played a part in the outcomes, but there are still plenty of options out there for Rollins to feud with.We know Rollins is set to clash with Kane at Hell in a Cell. He should retain the title, and here are the feuds that should be considered to follow.

We all know the history between Rollins and Reigns. Rollins cashed-in at WrestleMania and Reigns missed out on the championship. With all that’s happened between the two, it’s surprising to see that they haven’t had a singles match at a pay-per-view for the championship.

Reigns has definitely improved over the last few months and has silenced his doubters in the process. It’s only a matter of time before Reigns is granted a title match, and the perfect opponent would be Rollins.

With Rollins being one of the biggest heels in the company, it would be a good thing for Reigns as the face, whilst the matches should also be of a high quality.

If it could happen at WrestleMania it would mark a great title run for Rollins, whilst the two could also come full circle after getting involved at WrestleMania 31.

This one is a fantasy match for all of The Shield fans.

It would be good to see both Reigns and Ambrose battling it out to get a shot at their former stable mate, only for the three of them to meet once more inside of the ring.

This time, however, a championship will be involved and that will show how far the three have come since debuting at Survivor Series a couple of years ago.

If the feud happens then fans know it will be a great WrestleMania main event, especially since this is a feud that could go on for months and still remain interesting.

Rollins has already taken on Cena and Sting, why not go for another future WWE Hall of Famer?

Rollins is rumoured to be one of the three opponents the WWE have in mind to face The Deadman at WrestleMania 32, so it’s probably more likely to happen than fans might think. I believe it will be a similar feud to the one we recently saw with Sting.

Rollins will be hell-bent on trying to tarnish and end The Undertaker’s legacy and make an even bigger name for himself. I don’t think fans should be worried about the match either. Rollins is a good opponent to work with and can definitely make The Undertaker look strong.

If the WWE want to continue making Rollins the biggest heel around, this is definitely the way to go.

I think this feud should happen once Rollins eventually turns face. This could also happen sooner rather than later, especially if Sheamus cashes in on Rollins and he decides to pursue The Celtic Warrior. I think this would definitely help both men.

Considering the fans despise Sheamus, Rollins could use that to his advantage and it would be a perfect first feud as a face for him.

It would help him grow as a face, allow him to mix-up his in-ring style and even change his character in general to someone more favourable and welcomed by the WWE Universe.

Again, this is one that would work better if Rollins is the face in this feud. For months, it’s been rumoured that Triple H and Rollins are set to meet inside of the ring. It’s unknown whether the championship will be involved or whether the feud itself is even going ahead.

If it does, then I think the championship could play an important role in this feud. Triple H would have the chance to add another title to his accolades whilst Rollins will want to prove he is the better man.

It would make for a good battle. Considering we’ve seen so much of these two already it would be a shame not to see the two square off.
