Ramos hails ´magnificent´ Sevilla

Sevilla coach Juande Ramos was delighted with the 2-0 win over AEK Athens that has put his side on the threshold of the Champions League proper.

Luis Fabiano and Frederic Kanoute scored the goals for the UEFA Cup holders in the first leg of the third-round qualifier and the hosts must now fancy their chances of upgrading to Champions League football, especially as they did not concede an away goal.

Ramos told club website "Qualifiers for a competition like the Champions League are even and difficult games. That´s why the team was nervous at the start.
