Tim Borowski is likely to join fellow midfielders Torsten Frings and Michael Ballack on the sidelines for Germany´s upcoming friendly with England.

The Werder Bremen player injured his knee in his side´s 2-2 draw with Bochum in their opening game of the Bundesliga season.

Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf believes Borowski will be out for up to three weeks, almost certainly precluding him from figuring at Wembley on August 22.
