Football News
Lyon coach Alain Perrin believes the first-half sending-off of Kim Kallstrom was the pivotal moment in his side´s narrow 1-0 defeat to Toulouse.

The Swede received his marching orders for foul and abusive language towards the fourth official after the referee failed to spot him being elbowed in the face by Nicolas Dieuze. Despite their numerical disadvantage, it looked like the champions would survive with a draw, only for Johan Elmander strike late on for Toulouse.

Perrin told club website "It´s a shame because we were playing well. We were in control of the match until Kim was sent off. It´s a huge disappointment. The players feel like they were beaten by only the slightest of margins."
