Mourinho losing patience

Jose Mourinho is searching for answers as to why Chelsea have started the season so poorly, and it was inevitable that certain first-team players would be scrutinised as a result.

One thing fans probably didn’t expect was for the trio of Oscar, Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic to be standing in the spotlight.

Well, according to the Daily Telegraph the star triumvirate are attracting the Special One’s attentions for the wrong reasons, with Mourinho having questioned the attitude of some of his players recently.

They’ll probably be given a chance to rectify the problems, but Chelsea’s manager isn’t known for suffering fools.

No 'untouchables'

On a similar note, Mourinho himself has promised that there is no one in his squad who is untouchable.

He said that only consistently fantastic players could be given that status, hinting that perhaps he doesn’t feel he has any of them at his disposal.

Given Chelsea’s league form, it’s difficult to argue with his stance.

Chong race

Lastly in transfer news, Mourinho is ready to try and beat Premier League rivals Manchester United to the signing of young Feyenoord forward Tahith Chong.

The 15-year-old is rapidly developing an impressive reputation, and according to reports he’s wanted by the aforementioned superpowers. It’s believed Louis van Gaal is confident of landing him, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.
