Football News
Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo has confirmed the club are looking to sign a forward before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.

OM´s attacking options look thin on the ground, with Djibril Cisse the only genuine out-and-out striker on the club´s books and the situation got worse at the weekend when Mamadou Niang hurt his knee against Strasbourg, and he is set to miss Saturday´s home clash against Rennes.

Anigo admitted a striker was on the Mediterranean giants´ wish-list, with Nantes´ Luigi Pieroni a possible option, saying: "We are looking for a good player, a recognised talent."
