Marseille coach Albert Emon delivered a "must do better" verdict on his team after they opened their Ligue 1 campaign with a 0-0 draw at Strasbourg.

The Mediterranean giants were unable to break down the promoted Alsatians at the Stade Meinau and Emon said: "Am I satisfied with a drawn match away from home, why not?" Am I satisfied with the rhythm of the match that we imposed on Strasbourg? No. We must do better, with our rhythm especially. Strasbourg were good opponents and troubled us with their wingers."

Emon tried to look at the positives, saying: "I did not think that at any given moment we would have been able to win this match, except from a set-piece or a rare chance.
