Linda Pizzuti Henry responds to tweet about Jurgen Klopp

It’s going to take more for Liverpool fans to trick the switched-on Linda Pizzuti Henry.

Just last week, the wife of Liverpool owner John W Henry refused to fall for a Liverpool fan’s plea to wish his “granddad” a happy birthday on Twitter. The photo of the ‘grandfather’ just so happened to be the former Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Meanwhile, earlier this morning, another cheeky Liverpool fan attempted to embarrass Linda by getting her to wish his “dad” a happy birthday. But the photo was of the former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp - and John W Henry’s wife responded in style.

“Connor,” she wrote on Twitter, “I thought your dad's birthday was in June.”

Linda clearly knows who Klopp is - and even knows the revered German coach’s birthday is in June.

Make of that what you will.

Liverpool fans loved Linda's tweet

Rodgers facing two more crunch fixtures

If Fenway Sports Group have decided to replace Brendan Rodgers, as talkSPORT claimed last week, then Klopp would be a popular appointment among Liverpool supporters.

The 48-year-old is currently on a sabbatical following seven hectic years at Signal Iduna Park, but would be willing to return to management before January if the right offer comes his way.

Rodgers has bought himself a little more time, thanks to last weekend’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa, but the knives will be out for the Northern Irish coach once again if Liverpool lose to Sion and then local rivals Everton over the next five days.

Liverpool fans: should Brendan Rodgers be sacked on Sunday if the Reds lose the Merseyside derby? Have your say by leaving a comment in the box below!
