Manchester United fans have responded to Andreas Pereira's latest tweet ahead of the Red Devils' Champions League showdown with German outfit Wolfsburg this evening.

Pereira took to social media earlier today as Louis van Gaal's side prepare for their second game in Group B.

The talented youngster started his first match for the club in last week's Capital One Cup victory over Championship outfit Ipswich Town.

In fact, the 19-year-old scored a stunning free-kick on his full debut - and it appears that the Old Trafford faithful are hoping to see him star under the floodlights once again.

United, who were beaten at the hands of PSV in their opening group fixture, will be determined to get off the mark sooner rather than later. It remains to be seen, however, as to whether Pereira will take to the field this evening.

Huge future

Pereira has a long way to go in the game, but there's no reason why he won't be able to go from strength-to-strength at the club over the coming years.

He's classy, creative and has an eye for goal, but must continue to learn the game. By no means is he the finished article, but he could have a long-term role to play in Manchester.

With the likes of  Pereira, Memphis Depay, Anthony Martial and Adnan Januzaj all on the books at Old Trafford, the club are set for a bright future.

But it's all about the present for Van Gaal - and he must steer the Red Devils to three points this evening. Wolfsburg will be quite the test for United, who can't afford to slip further behind in Group B.
