England legend David Beckham has named the trio of Manchester United, PSG and AC Milan as the clubs he wants to win the Champions League in this campaign.
There's one problem, however: AC Milan didn't qualify for this season's competition. Beckham represented all three sides throughout his playing days, but clearly hasn't been keeping a close eye on Milan, who finished way back in 10th place in Serie A last term.
In truth, it may be some time before they return to Europe's elite competition. With just nine points from their opening six league fixtures, Sinisa Mihajlovic's side are already some way off the pace on the domestic scene.

Beckham has, however, selected the duo of Manchester United and PSG as potential winners, with both sides in action this evening. The Red Devils are set to play host to Wolfsburg, while PSG face a tricky away fixture against Shakhtar.
Speaking to Sport 360, Beckham stated: "Who do I want to win is a different story to who I think is going to win... or maybe it's not actually.
"I'm going to have to say Man United, PSG, AC Milan. One of those three I'd like to see win but when you're in the Champions League, you realise how important this competition is in football and it's one of the best competitions to actually play in and definitely to win."
United could be dark horses
Let's be honest, Manchester United are by no means the finished article under the Louis van Gaal regime, but they could upset one or two in the Champions League.
With the likes of Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Bastian Schweinsteiger leading the team, the Red Devils have enough experience in their ranks. David de Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in world football, so he could have an instrumental role to play, while the exciting duo of Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay could prove their class in the competition.
