John Cena's United States Open Challenge will start to provide opportunities to lesser experienced wrestlers in the WWE, according to reports.
In the past, the United States Open Challenge has not only provided a title opportunity to any person willing to step up to the plate and try to get the win against Cena, but also gave valuable experience to those that needed it on a main roster show.
People that have accepted the challenge in the past include Cesaro, Zack Ryder, Neville, Bad News Barrett, Stardust, and NXT's own Sami Zayn.

And now, Cageside Seats says 'There's apparently been some increased talk of having more NXT stars answer John Cena's US title open challenge to get them exposure on the main roster.'
This is great for all the NXT stars because it gives them an opportunity to advertise themselves before finally making the main roster jump. Yet, at the moment, the title is yet to change hands thanks to the United States Open Challenge, meaning any competitor will not be put over by Cena.
The only hope is that they don't just provide this exposure to the main roster for NXT stars, as there are currently a bunch of Superstars on the main roster already that need more TV time.
For me, NXT stars such as Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, and Finn Balor are stars that deserve the exposure from the United States Open Challenge, but so do main roster stars like Damien Sandow and Heath Slater. This is also a great way to bring back possible returning stars like Carlito.
Overall, the United States Open Challenge is one of the best segments on Raw at the moment because it is providing opportunities to Superstars that deserve it the most. But surely, one day, someone has to beat Cena in one of the matches?
