Manchester United fans are concerned Anthony Martial might injure himself ahead of Sunday’s crunch Premier League clash against Arsenal after he posted a video of himself riding on a hands-free Segway on Friday night.

By the looks of the Instagram video, the 19-year-old France international is still residing in a hotel, a month after joining the Red Devils in a £36 million move from AS Monaco.

Martial is seen riding up and down on the gadget - which seems to be all the rage amongst Premier League footballers at the moment - while holding his thumbs up to the camera.

This prompted a string of replies from anxious United fans, urging the teenager to be careful with less than 48 hours to go before this weekend’s huge fixture at the Emirates Stadium.

“Sir Alex would absolutely b****** ya for risking injury on that @martial_9 and I wouldn't be suprised [sic] if Van Gaal does, risking injury there...not very smart,” wrote one user in the replies section.

While another fan messaged: “Don't be getting injured”.

Martial will be keen to score v Arsenal

Martial is expected to start at the Emirates following a remarkable beginning to his Manchester United career.

The young striker has scored four goals in six matches, while the comparisons with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry have intensified over the past four weeks.

A goal against Arsenal would be extra sweet for Martial after Arsene Wenger hinted he didn’t think the Frenchman was worth the huge fee Manchester United paid for his services.

As things stand, though, Wenger’s decision not to meet AS Monaco’s asking price is already looking like a mistake.

Martial appears to possess all the attributes required to become a world-class forward - and it might not be too much longer before he’s widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s best strikers.
