Serbia, England punished by UEFA

The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) has been fined 24,000 euros by UEFA following the incidents that marred the European Under-21 Championship match between Serbia and England on 17 June.

UEFA´s Control and Disciplinary Body handed down the punishment to the FSS after a number of Serbian supporters were cited for racist chanting.

The FSS was also punished for the "improper conduct" of its players following England´s second goal during their 2-0 win in in Nijmegen.
