WWE: Bray Wyatt requires medical attention after bloody injury at live event

No matter how successful WWE has become, the sports entertainment business has always had its fair share of detractors who argue that it is all fake.

Too real

Those arguing that point today may want to look the way of current WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt.

That's after the star heel was left bleeding from wounds on his head and hands during the past weekend's live event schedule.

As reported by NoDQ.com, Wyatt had been taking part in a no disqualification match against Roman Reigns in Bangor, Maine when the scary incident took place.

According to those in attendance at the event, Wyatt suffered multiple bad cuts to both his head and hands during the match after being hit with a kendo stick. So extreme were the cuts, the Superstar had to be treated by medical staff mid-match.

To his credit, Wyatt went on to complete the match but, to add insult to injury, he came out defeated against Reigns.

Given who he was going up against, Wyatt's legitimate war wounds will only increase the intensity running up to the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

The Wyatt Family leader is set to take on Roman Reigns at the upcoming event, and he will likely enter the arena with a score to settle after the weekend's drama.

The WWE, whilst glad that Wyatt's injuries don't look to be long-lasting, will be slightly concerned that two incidents over the weekend at non-TV shows have ended in unwanted injury.

Away from the main roster, WWE Diva Eva Marie accidently stomped on an opponent's head during an NXT live event only days ago.
