WWE: Sasha Banks could be added to Divas title match at Hell in a Cell

Football News

The Divas Revolution in the WWE started out incredibly strong and lasted all of a month.

Thanks to a combination of a terrible idea for calling Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks up, absolutely no creative direction once they got there, and the constant three-on-three matches that bored the crowd endlessly, the Revolution fizzled out completely.

Things could be starting to finally pick up due to Charlotte winning the Divas Championship and Paige seemingly splitting from PCB, and now the WWE have finally made another smart move.

Banks In

According to a report from Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc, Sasha Banks could be added to the Divas title match at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

The original plan for Hell in a Cell was to make it a three-way with Paige being inside the structure alongside Charlotte and Nikki Bella. Instead, it seems that Banks could be given the call-up.

"There's been speculation that Sasha Banks may be added to the match to make it a Fatal 4 Way after Sasha pinned Nikki in Team BAD's win over Team Bella on SmackDown," the report stated.

WWE could be set to put the plan into place on tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw, with the company putting out a bit of a teaser ahead of RAW, saying that Team B.A.D could be set to "capitalize" on the chaos in the Divas division.

If Banks is added to the match then it is a smart move. She's arguably the most over Diva on the entire roster, with "We Want Sasha" chants popping up during previous Divas matches that didn't involve her.
