Cesaro set for reduced role after finding himself in the 'WWE doghouse'

The WWE main roster is a fickle place. One minute a Superstar can be winning matches and enjoying the adulation of the crowd, the next he can find himself free-falling down the bill.

That rollercoaster routine may be starting to grate on one particular Superstar, however, after reports today revealed he is set for a downturn in use.

As reported by F4WOnline, Cesaro has once again been put on the back burner by the WWE - with the Swiss wrestler allegedly in the "WWE doghouse."

At this stage, there is no clear indication as to why the WWE have seen fit to pull the plug on yet another Cesaro push.

But, after being given time in the limelight as a singles competitor over recent months, the Superstar clearly must have done something to upset the WWE hierarchy to end up in their bad books once again.

Whilst Cesaro himself will undoubtedly be disappointed to hear he is effectively back to square one, the WWE Universe too will likely be unhappy with this decision by the organization.

Unpopular move

Despite the WWE's inconsistent plans for the big man, Cesaro has remained a popular figure within the WWE fan base. To see him return to the bottom rung of the roster then will only frustrate crowds even further.

Whether the WWE have simply run out of ideas for the former U.S. Champion at this stage, or whether the Swiss star has done something behind the scenes to earn their wrath, is unclear.

Either way, with another big pay-per-view on its way in just a few weeks, it looks like Cesaro is set to miss out on the primetime action yet again.
