Two rumors have been doing the rounds today about tonight's showing of Monday Night Raw in Boston, one which has been confirmed.

John Cena has announced on his twitter that he will defend his United States Championship tonight in an open challenge.

There is also speculation that Lana may be making a return to Raw for the first time since her injury after she posted a photo of her traveling to Boston on Instagram.

Recent rumors have suggested that Cena will defend his title against one of the members of The New Day at the Hell of Cell pay-per-view on October 25. This possible feud could be set up tonight, with one of the group members accepting the United States open challenge.

I've said earlier that I hope it is Big E because he is the mold to be a top WWE Superstar and this could be a perfect platform for him to start his journey to the main event.

Lana also posted a picture of herself traveling to Boston on Instagram, the location which Raw will be tonight at the TD Garden.

The Ravishing Russian hasn't appeared on WWE programming since she had to undergo wrist surgery due to an injury which she picked up during training.

The chances of her returning are high as the Rusev and Dolph Ziggler feud is going stale. This could provide the opportunity to add an injection of life into the rivalry and give it a good, and hopefully, final send off at Hell in a Cell.
