Marcos Rojo has hinted that he has no problem with Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal after being declared unfit to play for Argentina in their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.
Argentina head coach Gerardo Martino agreed to withdraw the defender from his squad - per the Guardian - following a conversation with Van Gaal.
Rojo has missed United’s previous four fixtures after suffering a hamstring problem in the 3-2 win over Southampton on September 20 - but Van Gaal was angered after the South American failed to reveal the true extent of his injury.

Despite rumours of a rift existing between Rojo and Van Gaal, the left-footed centre-back hinted he has no problem with the veteran Dutch coach - based on his latest Twitter activity, anyway.
The first tweet Rojo retweeted onto his timeline states: “.@MarcosRojo5 is not [angry] with van Gaal. The defender [and] Martino spoke with van Gaal, and this situation was agreed.”
And to further emphasise that there’s no problem between himself and the United manager, Rojo retweeted another Spanish post which reads: "Marcos Rojo did not recover [from the injury] and is therefore [withdrawn]. Clarification? Has no problem with Van Gaal."
Problems between Rojo and Van Gaal
The relationship between Rojo and Van Gaal, however, has appeared frosty at best following the issue over the defender’s passport in the summer.
Rojo was unable to link-up with his Manchester United teammates in the USA following a short break after the Copa America in Chile because of his failure to renew his passport.
This led to the 25-year-old missing vital pre-season matches - and so far this season he has made just one appearance for the Red Devils in the Premier League.
That Daily Blind struggles against teams with pace and power, though, suggests Rojo stands a decent chance of returning to the left centre-back position after the current international break.
