Daniel Bryan is in a very delicate place with regards to his WWE career right now.

The former WWE Champion has been forced to vacate two titles in the past year and a bit and, after suffering a string of concussions, has not been cleared by a WWE Doctor to make a return to the ring.

Bryan is being referred to one final doctor and his future rests on that specialist's opinion. Bryan has revealed that if said doctor doesn't clear him, he could leave the WWE.

Bryan recently spoke with IGN to promote the upcoming WWE 2K16 video game, and the prospect of him wrestling outside the WWE was spoken about, with Bryan saying he would consider it.

"John Cena and I actually had this discussion," Bryan said, "If something were to happen to you and the WWE, would you go back to doing the indies?' Absolutely!"

That would be an incredible proposition. Bryan, who has been cleared to return by a previous doctor, leaving the WWE to wrestle on the Independent scene, where he started off all those years ago as the American Dragon and Bryan Danielson.

If Bryan were to leave then he would be inundated with offers. From New Japan Pro Wrestling to Ring of Honor, TNA to PWG, Bryan will be a man in demand.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with Bryan, surely the WWE wouldn't let one of their biggest stars walk out.
