Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli admitted they are no closer to signing Argentina international Gabriel Milito.

The Bianconeri are looking for a defender to reinforce their team and coach Claudio Ranieri´s number one target remains Real Zaragoza centre-back Milito.

"We need a central defender," said Cobolli Gigli. "We are negotiating with Zaragoza for Milito but there is still an important economic difference between our offer and what they demand. It will not be easy to complete this transfer although we will continue to work hard."
