Arsenal star hasn't stopped trolling Juan Mata over 3-0 defeat yet

Arsenal fans have been quick to remind their Manchester United counterparts about their team's dominant 3-0 win over their Premier League rivals on Sunday.

Having seen Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil rip the Red Devils apart inside 20 minutes, the bragging rights are lying well and truly at the Emirates Stadium.

But the banter does not stop with the fans, however, as Juan Mata has revealed. The United playmaker, who failed to shine in the top-of-the-table clash, has admitted he is struggling to forget about that game, mainly thanks to a little man called Santi Cazorla.

The two diminutive midfielders have travelled to their native Spain to join up with the national squad ahead of Euro 2016 qualifiers against Luxembourg and Ukraine, but Cazorla is working hard to make sure that events in north London remain at the forefront of conversation.

“I’ve been eating at the same table as Santi Cazorla and he keeps reminding me that Arsenal beat us 3-0 at the weekend,” Mata told Cadena Ser. “Santi is a crack.”

Time to concentrate

Vicente del Bosque will be hoping Cazorla and Mata can start concentrating on their national team soon, as the current European champions face a test of some sort against Luxembourg on Thursday evening.

The tiny tax haven has enjoyed a relatively successful qualifying campaign, securing a rare victory against FYR Macedonia as well as a draw against Belarus earlier in the campaign.

A win against the world's 116th best team will secure qualification to next summer's tournament and will allow planning for an unprecedented third straight triumph to begin.
