Louis van Gaal berated Valdes in front of Man United stars - Balague

Published 2 Comments

Victor Valdes is one unhappy character at Manchester United under Louis van Gaal, but a recent claim made by Spanish busybody Guillem Balague might just explain why. Obviously he’s been dropped, which we all know, and he was verbally questioned in one of Van Gaal’s press conferences, again we all know. But Balague is now claiming that Van Gaal also berated Valdes in front of his teammates after the Spaniard conceded a sloppy goal. It’s said Valdes tried to use the excuse that he hadn’t been given sufficient warm-up time, but that Van Gaal had argued he should have been getting rid of the rust with the U21s. It all goes full circle. Meanwhile there’s absolutely no chance United will be signing Neymar anytime soon… according to Barcelona’s technical director Roberto Fernandez. He said the club was working on Neymar’s extension and that he would be at the Nou Camp for life. If there’s any lingering doubt - we don’t think Neymar was heading to the Red Devils anyway.
